On 13th November 2011, Consul General Pan Yundong met with the Lord Mayor of Manchester Cllr Elaine Boyes and the Deputy Leader of Manchester City Council Cllr Sue Murphy at his residence. Consul General Pan's wife Consul Zhu Yu, Consul Zhao Jixian, the Lady Mayoress, and Miss Louise Hope of the Manchester City Council attended the meeting.
