On 22 January 2013, Consul General Pan Yundong met with the Leader of Manchester City Council, Sir Richard Leese, and the Chief Executive of Manchester City Council, Sir Howard Bernstein, at his residence. Consul Zhu Yu, Consul Zhao Jixian, and Ms Marilyn McGuinness of Manchester City Council attended the meeting.
