Consul General Dr. Sun Dali Meets with Manchester China Forum Executive Director

Consul General Dr. Sun Dali met with Rhys Whalley, executive director of Manchester China Forum at the Consulate General on September 13^th, 2016. Deputy Consul General Lai Bo and Consul Lyu Xiaomei attended the meeting.

Rhys briefed Consul General Sun on Greater Manchester and Manchester China Forum and made proposals on how to strengthen ties between the north of England and China.

Consul General Sun thanked Manchester China Forum for the efficient efforts it has made to promote China-UK cooperation, its project-matching for Chinese companies and the north of England in particular. He made a point of the broad prospects of China-UK cooperation and immense untapped potentials and urged Manchester China Forum to play a more active role in aligning the companies and projects of both countries and enhancing multi-area communication and collaboration between China and the north of England.
